Pedophilia is often a paraphilia. In latest versions of formal diagnostic coding units including the DSM-5 and ICD-11, "pedophilia" is distinguished from "pedophilic disorder". Pedophilic condition is outlined as a sample of pedophilic arousal accompanied by possibly subjective distress or interpersonal trouble, or obtaining acted on that arousal.
